As many as 19 players could be absent from Sunday's North London derby, with both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur hit by a wave of injuries. Mikel Arteta's Gunners are set to welcome Thomas Frank's Lilywhites in a fierce contest for local bragging rights this weekend, following a two-week international break.
Despite the anticipation amongst fans who will be flocking down Holloway Road and into the Emirates Stadium, neither team will be entering the match at full strength. That's because a number of first-team stars are currently sidelined through injury and will likely miss the game altogether.
Arsenal
Arsenal may have to face Spurs without nine key players this weekend. Despite their current surge in the Premier League, sitting comfortably at the top with a four-point lead over Manchester City, Arteta's impressive run hasn't been without its challenges.
