Eleven weeks of the 2025 NFL season have been completed. Each week, we’ll monitor every team in the AFC South with an eye towards their ability to compete for the divisional crown. Here’s how the four teams stack up after eleven weeks of action.
4. Tennessee Titans (1-9)

Credit to the Titans, they still are competing to win games and putting up a good fight. Unfortunately, they just don’t have the overall talent to win most games. They’re still sitting in the driver’s seat for the #1 pick. The rest of the way, they’ll continue to look to develop Cam Ward and hopefully get him his first multiple-TD game of his rookie season. Defensively, having T’Vondre Sweat and Jeffery Simmons play their first game together was great to see and something the defense can build off of.

The Jags could have crumbled after the fourth-quarter letdown versus the Texans. Instead, they came out and had one of their most complete games as a football team against a team with seven wins. They go on the road in their next two games, but get to face a three-win Arizona Cardinals team and a one-win Titans team. Following a tough home game against the Colts, they get the two-win New York Jets at home. They have a great shot at leaping the Texans in the power rankings and helping to solidify their playoff hopes.
2. Houston Texans (5-5)

Houston has reached another tough trio of games after losing their first three games of the season and then fighting back to get to .500. A Thursday night home game against the Buffalo Bills, followed by 10 days to prepare for the road trip to take on the division leading Colts and then hitting the road to face a hungry Kansas City Chiefs team that has 10 days to prepare for them, will decide if the Texans are really in the playoff hunt or not.

Indy is refreshed after receiving a late-season bye that allows them extra time to heal and prepare before their toughest slate of games this season. The Colts travel to the Chiefs this week, followed by a home game against the Texans and then back on the road for two straight against the Jaguars and Seattle Seahawks. They finish the year with back-to-back home games against the San Francisco 49ers and Jaguars, followed by their Week 18 divisional showdown in Houston.
