Reports have emerged which suggest Bukayo Saka has agreed in principle to sign a new contract with Arsenal which will keep him at the club until 2030.
The Gunners will head into the North London derby this weekend, hoping to get one over their bitter rivals, and extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table. Mikel Arteta will be pleased with how things are going, but the recent injury to Gabriel is a huge blow.

However, for all that is bad, some recent good news has emerged, as according to Sky Sports, Arsenal are progressing in negotiations for a new contract for Bukayo Saka, with murmurings that he will stay at the club until at least 2030.
The expectation is that after William Saliba signed a new deal last month, Saka will become the highest-paid player at the Emirates. Arsenal fans have taken to X to react to the news…

Which Arsenal players’ contracts are expiring next?
The Gunners are in a very strong position with regards to contracts, as they have no players due to expire at the end of the season, meaning they can look forward to next year.
Assuming that Saka signs a new deal, Arsenal have four players who will be set to leave as free agents in 2027. The first is Gabriel Martinelli, who has recently been linked with a move away from the Emirates.
As well as Martinelli, Arsenal have Leandro Trossard, Gabriel Jesus, and summer signing Christian Norgaard all expiring. The Gunners will likely consider extending a couple of their deals, or selling them next summer.
