Joe Haden returning to host TownHall Feed the Need

CLEVELAND, Ohio – As is tradition on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, TownHall Feed the Need is back.

Former Cleveland Browns cornerback Joe Haden is returning to host the 13th annual charitable event. Haden will team up with professional athletes and community leaders to serve free turkey dinners to the less fortunate from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25.

Since 2013, Feed The Need has served more than 50,000 free turkey meals. In past years, Jim Brown, Bernie Kosar, Joe Thomas, Baker Mayfield, Dwyane Wade and Stipe Miocic have supported Feed The Need. TownHall has not released the names of other athletes invited to participate this year.

Haden played 12 years in the NFL – seven with Cleveland and five with Pittsburgh. He retired after the 2021 season.

TownHall collects gently used outerwear, hats, sweaters, mittens and jackets leading up to the event. The outerwear will be available at Feed The Need to keep those in need warm.

The restaurant also raises and matches funds to support St. Augustine Hunger Center. TownHall staff will deliver hundreds of free meals to the Cleveland Animal Protective League and Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter.

TownHall is at 1909 W. 25th St., Cleveland.
