Week 12 of the 2025 NFL season is upon us. Each week, I’ll look at the AFC South matchups and give you a couple of bold predictions for those games. Houston stayed at home for a big Thursday night football matchup with the Buffalo Bills and won’t be listed in the bold predictions this week. Indianapolis comes off their bye for a road game in Kansas City. The Jaguars also hit the road to take on the NFC West’s Arizona Cardinals. Tennessee stays at home for a game against another NFC West team in the Seattle Seahawks.

Taylor is having an all-time great type of season. He’s put up three touchdowns in three of his last four games. Through 10 games, Taylor has more games with three touchdowns than he has with zero. Coming off the bye with extra rest, expectations should be for Taylor to be refreshed and literally hit the ground running. The Chiefs are giving up the fourth-fewest points per game (18.1) this season and rank top 10 in the red zone. They’ll keep Taylor out of the endzone in Week 12.
Daniel Jones will be sacked 3+ times, have an interception and lose a fumble
After rarely taking a sack and protecting the ball most of this season, Jones has been sacked 12 times with six fumbles (three lost) and four interceptions in his last two games. Despite the bye week to try and get Jones back on track, he’ll have his third-straight game being sacked 3+ times, throwing an interception, and losing a fumble.

Jacksonville Jaguars:

Jakobi Meyers has his first 100+ yard game and touchdown of 2025
Even before being traded to the Jaguars, Meyers hadn’t gone over 100 yards receiving in a game or caught a touchdown pass this year. In his two games since joining Jacksonville, he’s been targeted nine times and has eight receptions for 105 yards. Jacksonville’s other receivers have either been injured or have fallen out of favor. Meyers will continue to be the go-to option going forward, and he’ll reward Trevor Lawrence for his trust by going over 100 yards and reaching the endzone against the Cardinals.

Arik Armstead, Josh Hines-Allen and Travon Walker all record a sack
Armstead leads the team with 5.5 sacks, while Hines-Allen only has three, and Walker comes in with 2.5. However, Hines-Allen has 15 QB hits this season, which is tied for the 12th most in the NFL. Arizona lacks a running game, leading to Jacoby Brissett having to pass on average 42 times a game over his last five games. Before last week, he had been sacked 5+ times in three straight games. Armstead, Hines-Allen, and Walker will all add to their sack numbers by bringing down Brissett this week.
Tennessee Titans:

Cam Ward gets sacked six times for the third time this season
Ward has been sacked an NFL-most 41 times this season. He’s been sacked at least twice in every game. In eight games, he’s been sacked 3+ times. He’s been sacked 4+ times in seven games. The Seahawks will get to him and sack him six times to mark the third game this season in which the feat has happened to Ward.
The Titans running backs will combine for less than 20 rushing yards
Tennessee has been hit hard at the receiver position, and QB Cam Ward hasn’t had a game this season with more than one touchdown. Against a dominant Seattle rush defense, the Titans will have a hard time finding traction in the running game, leading to them getting behind big early. Tennessee will be forced to throw most of the game in hopes of catching up. In Week 11, Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears combined for 14 carries for 25 yards. You may believe that it can’t get worse than that, but the Seahawks prove that false as they keep the pair under 20 rushing yards in Week 12.
