Earlier this month, Tuttomercatoweb mentioned Manchester City as a suitor for Udinese’s Arthur Atta.
The outlet claimed the 22-year-old is attracting interest from a host of Italian sides.

They also report the midfielder is on Manchester City’s radar, with Barcelona monitoring him too. However, a January exit is considered unlikely.
As of now, Udinese prefer a summer sale. At that point, an ‘auction will start at €40m’ for Atta and that is the Italian club’s target.
Napoli have already sought information about the player and AC Milan are also keen. This is playing into Udinese’s plan, with the Friulian side hoping that his valuation rises to €40m.
Atta is currently looking for a new agent, having previously been represented by family members.
So far this season, he has played 11 times in Serie A, scoring once and assisting twice. The ex-Metz player has played across the midfield, also playing as a striker.
This could be something worth keeping an eye on for Manchester City, with hype around Atta likely to grow in the next few months.
