The second Manchester derby of the season will take place on Saturday, January 17 at 12.30pm after the Premier League confirmed the latest fixtures to be moved for TV coverage.
Manchester United will welcome Manchester City to Old Trafford for a Saturday lunchtime kick-off, which will be live on Sky Sports. Although the fixture has often been moved to a Sunday TV slot in recent years, Pep Guardiola's side travel to the Arctic Circle to face Bodo/Glimt in the Champions League on Tuesday, January 20, which prevented that this time.
The Blues won the first derby of the season 3-0 at the Etihad, with Erling Haaland scoring twice after Phil Foden had got the ball rolling. That mid-September clash got City back on track after a shaky start to the season, but United have also improved under Ruben Amorim and they will expect to put up a better fight at Old Trafford.
The last time a league fixture between the clubs was staged on a Saturday lunchtime came in January 2023, when United won 2-1. Jack Grealish gave City the lead before the hosts turned the game around in the final 12 minutes. Bruno Fernandes scored a controversial equaliser and Marcus Rashford bagged the winner.
United face a blockbuster January, with a trip to the Emirates to face Arsenal the following weekend. That game has been rescheduled for Sunday, January 25 (4.30pm) and will be shown live on Sky Sports. The following weekend, United host Fulham at Old Trafford in a game now moved to Sunday, February 1 (2pm), also on Sky Sports.
On the same day, City travel to London to face Tottenham Hotspur in a 4.30pm kick-off, also live on Sky Sports.
