Shedeur Sanders has been at the center of a media frenzy since his days as the quarterback for the Colorado Buffaloes. Now, with the Cleveland Browns following an unprecedented slide in the NFL draft, nothing has changed.
Sanders has spent the season buried on the Browns’ depth chart, and many fans suspected that head coach Kevin Stefanski had no intention of ever playing the rookie quarterback. However, the Browns’ other rookie quarterback, Dillon Gabriel, exited last week’s loss to the Baltimore Ravens with a concussion, and Sanders entered an NFL game for the first time in his career.
Gabriel is still in concussion protocol, paving the way for Sanders to make his first-ever NFL start. However, many fans are worried that an organization as poorly run as the Browns will be a hard environment for Sanders to thrive in, and a recent statistic has confirmed that Cleveland is not a place conducive to quarterback success.

Fans reacted to the brutal statistic on social media.
“They definitely have a chance with that defense and they are playing the Raiders who are equally as bad,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“We are playing the raiders so very possible since they are one of the only other franchises as dysfunctional as ours,” another fan added.
“That’s a cursed stat if I’ve ever heard one. Good luck to the kid,” one fan added.
