The Kansas City Chiefs remain one of the NFL’s premier franchises, led by a stable front office and a roster built to win. With Patrick Mahomes and a championship culture, the Chiefs are commonly viewed as perennial Super Bowl contenders and will be in the conversation for another deep playoff run this season.
Still, postseason success isn’t guaranteed. Football is a week-to-week sport, and matchups, injuries and momentum will decide whether Kansas City reaches Super Bowl LX. For now, the team’s mix of talent and leadership keeps their chances strong in the eyes of many fans.

This year’s Super Bowl halftime headliner is Bad Bunny, a choice that sparked controversy after his earlier public criticism of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The pick prompted backlash in some corners and even false claims that Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes might boycott the game. That tension prompted Turning Point USA to plan an alternate halftime event.

Gracie Hunt, daughter of Chiefs chairman and CEO Clark Hunt, publicly praised Erika Kirk and Turning Point USA for proposing an alternative show. On Fox News Channel’s The Will Cain Show, Hunt said, “I really respect Erika for all that she’s done, especially with creating a halftime show for America.” She stressed the family element of the Super Bowl, noting her grandfather intended it “to be something children and families of all ages could come together and watch.”

Hunt expressed concern about impressionable young viewers and applauded a family-friendly alternative. “Young women, young men and everyone, they just need someone to look up to,” she said. She also suggested future performers who might better fit that vision, naming Jason Aldean and adding she’d “love to see Miss Taylor Swift up there sometime.”
Hunt framed her support as respect for values she believes the NFL should reflect, emphasizing family, community and tradition while stopping short of outright condemnation of the league’s choice.
