LeBron James Reacts to Historic News About Warriors' Draymond Green

The Los Angeles Lakers have gotten off to a stellar 11-4 start, and 40-year-old LeBron James made his return to the court Tuesday night against the Utah Jazz after missing the first 14 games due to a sciatic issue stemming from the offseason.

Despite that absence, James remained actively engaged with what's happening around the league, including the historic milestone reached by his friend and fellow competitor Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors during Green's latest performance against the Orlando Magic.

Green recorded his 900th career block as a member of the Warriors, becoming only the second player in NBA history to achieve this feat.

James acknowledged the accomplishment on his Instagram story Thursday, writing: “Congrats my brother!!!”

Green, 35, is in his 14th NBA season, all with the Golden State Warriors after they selected him 35th overall out of Michigan State.

Green has played a pivotal role in the Warriors' modern-day dynasty, helping the team capture four NBA championships, three of which came across five consecutive NBA Finals appearances. Their most recent title came in 2022.

Alongside the championships, Green is a four-time All-Star, nine-time All-Defensive Team member, two-time All-NBA Team member, and was named the 2016 Defensive Player of the Year.
