Arsenal are keeping tabs on Liverpool academy winger Joshua Abe over a potential move, according to the Daily Mail.
Arsenal have 15-year-old Max Dowman in their first-team and are looking to further strengthen their youth ranks at the Emirates Stadium club.
Abe is also 15 but has played for Liverpool under-18s and under-21s, and several top clubs are monitoring his situation as he is yet to sign scholarship terms with the Reds.
Arsenal could have an upper hand in the race as Abe’s father is a lifelong fan of the Gunners, which could influence any move.
Liverpool are facing a fight to keep one of the most exciting talents on the club’s books, with Chelsea also keen on the teenage sensation.
He has been praised for being ‘extremely fast’ and described as ‘the best of his age group’ across the country.
🚨 Liverpool’s 15-Year-Old Joshua Abe with a stunning goal for England in a 2-1 loss against Italy. In our opinion he is the BEST winger in the country at this age.
Liverpool rate him highly and will be aiming to secure him next summer when his youth contract runs out. 🔴 #LFC https://t.co/vXJx8yMHJz pic.twitter.com/p4MfBOkh6f

🏴 Joshua Abe has 4 goal contributions in 5 games for Liverpool’s U18 side.
Some brilliant performances from the 15-year-old so far.
Not quite seen anyone like him at this level at Liverpool.
He’s extremely fast and has a very powerful and unique shot.

The England youth international still has a long way to go as far as becoming a top footballer at professional level goes given the gulf between age-grade and senior team football.
However, the talent is there and he could be playing Premier League football very soon if he keeps developing at this rate.
Abe will be hoping to get assurances of a clear pathway to facilitate his development before making a decision on his immediate future.
Arsenal gave the likes of Dowman, Andre Harriman-Annous, Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly their senior team debuts as teenagers, which would tempt the Liverpool starlet.
The Reds have also played 17-year-old Rio Ngumoha whenever the opportunities arose, and former manager Jurgen Klopp won the Carabao Cup with many youngsters in his last season with the club last year.
Abe is not short of suitors and Arsenal will have to be very convincing to have a chance of luring him to North London anytime soon.
