Keon Coleman status: Bills WR will be benched again and not playing

We are hours away from Thursday Night Football between the Houston Texans and Buffalo Bills. The talk leading into the game should be about Josh Allen’s six-touchdown game and how the offense should be back on track. However, the talk is about Keon Coleman once again.

Last week, the Bills were able to turn to Mecole Hardman and Gabe Davis to fill the spots at receiver along with giving Tyrell Shavers more snaps. However, this week’s scratch is hammering home how much of an issue this is. Hardman is out with an injury along with Curtis Samuel. Elijah Moore was a healthy scratch last week, as well, but he appears to be playing this week.

McDermott did state earlier that a couple of days of accountability does not mean the issue is automatically fixed. Perhaps after the ten-day layoff before Buffalo’s next game we will see a return for Coleman in the lineup. If not, the team could already be moving in a different reaction from their first draft pick a year ago.
