The Kansas City Chiefs are preparing for a season-defining Week 12 clash against the 8-2 Indianapolis Colts at Arrowhead Stadium.
At 5-5, the Chiefs are out of the division title race barring an epic collapse from the Denver Broncos, and are far behind in the hunt for the seventh seed.
So, a loss would be devastating to Andy Reid's team.
But as the Colts' injury report dropped on Thursday, the Chiefs might have gotten a slice of luck.
Colts quarterback Daniels Jones was limited with a calf injury per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, after having no injury designation yesterday.
Rapoport did follow up, stating the Colts are being cautious with Jones, but it is still worth keeping an eye on as the week goes on.

Chiefs might have caught huge break with Jones news
Even though it does seem like it is a mere precaution, there is a small chance that Jones might not be 100 percent in Week 12, and right now, Kansas City needs all the help it can get.
At 5-5, it is likely season over if the Chiefs lose, and going against a quarterback who could be less than fully healthy will certainly help their cause.
Granted, there is still plenty of time for Jones to get back to 100 percent, but the fact that he was limited with a calf injury, they don't generally go away in a couple of days.
Either way, it is something to monitor over the coming days as the Chiefs prepare for what is their biggest game of the season.
