Buffalo Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman remains in the Buffalo Bills’ doghouse.
Buffalo entered tonight’s matchup against the Houston Texans down two wide receivers, Mecole Hardman Jr. (calf) and Curtis Samuel (elbow/neck). Despite this, Coleman still could not crack the roster for Thursday Night Football.
Instead, Buffalo elevated veteran Gabe Davis for the second-straight game and made Elijah Moore active. Davis could find himself signing to the 53-man roster after Buffalo placed Hardman on the injured reserve on Thursday. In addition to Hardman, Buffalo also elevated tight end Keleki Latu. Latu will serve as Buffalo’s No. 3 tight end with Dalton Kincaid (hamstring) out of action.
Here’s a look at Buffalo’s full inactive list for tonight’s game.
WR Keon Coleman
WR Curtis Samuel
TE Dalton Kincaid
OL Chase Lundt
DT Phidarian Mathis
CB Ja’Marcus Ingram
Linebacker Shaq Thompson is active for the first time since Buffalo’s 40-9 win over the Carolina Panthers. He had missed the past three games with a hamstring injury. Thompson had been Buffalo’s top linebacker before the injury, so he should give a boost to the linebacker room on Thursday Night Football.
As reported earlier in the week, the Texans will be without starting quarterback C.J. Stroud and safety Jalen Pitre. Both players are working through the concussion protocol. Linebacker Jamal Hill was also ruled out for Houston with a hamstring injury. Here’s Houston’s full inactive list for tonight’s matchup against Buffalo.
QB C.J. Stroud
S Jalen Pitre
LB Jamal Hill
WR Braxton Berrios
LB Damone Clark
T Jarrett Kingston
G Laken Tomlinson
