All eyes will be on quarterback Shedeur Sanders when he makes his first-ever start for the Cleveland Browns against the Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday.
Sanders made his season debut in Week 11 against the Baltimore Ravens but didn't play well. After the game, defensive end Myles Garrett made sure to remind his rookie teammate to keep his head up and that they are all behind him.
Sanders and Garrett will both have key roles against the Raiders. While the 23-year-old Sanders might be on a short leash, the 29-year-old Garrett is expected to carry the entire defensive unit for the whole game.
He will continue to have ample support, as the Browns signed defensive end Alex Wright to a three-year, $33 million contract extension on Thursday.
Garrett was definitely thrilled by the news, reposting it on his Instagram Story, while tagging Wright and adding fire emojis.

The 25-year-old Wright should feel extra motivated against Las Vegas after getting his new deal. He was drafted by the Browns in the third round in 2022 and has since carved a nice role for himself on the team.
While he has only appeared in nine games this season, as he plays behind Garrett and defensive end Isaiah McGuire, Cleveland's decision signaled that the team is high on Wright's untapped potential.
With Garrett, a former Defensive Player of the Year and four-time All-Pro First Team member, continuing to show him the ropes, it's only a matter of time until Wright develops into one of the Browns' top enforcers.
