There is a real lack of options for the Cleveland Browns at center this offseason. When it comes to free agency they could break the bank for Tyler Linderbaum if the Ravens can't work out an extension. Creed Humphrey currently leads the position market at $18m and it will cost more than that to get Linderbaum. For me there isn't value for the Browns to do this as it is less impactful than the other four offensive line spots.
It seems very plausible for me that the Cleveland Browns could decide to bring Ethan Pocic back while he battles against other options like Luke Wypler. Pocic's play has been around league average so while you could do better, you could also do a lot worse.
If you go beyond these two players then you only currently have players that are worse. They would be better sticking with a proven entity compared to turning the card and ending up worse.
