Chelsea travel to face newly-promoted Burnley when the Premier League returns on Saturday afternoon.
The Blues have largely been in good form so far this season and currently sit third in the top flight table after a run of four wins in their past five games in the competition.
The next few games could be hugely important for Enzo Maresca’s side, who host Barcelona later this month before a game against league leaders and fierce London rivals, Arsenal.
Off the pitch, however, talk is turning to the upcoming January transfer window, and it appears that an Italian side have their sights set on two of Chelsea’s defenders.
According to Tuttomercatoweb via CaughtOffside, Serie A side Fiorentina have identified Chelsea’s Josh Acheampong as a transfer target for the upcoming window.

The report claims that the Italian outfit have made the 19-year-old their top target as they look to bolster their defensive ranks ahead of the second-half of the campaign.
Acheampong made his senior debut for Chelsea during the 2023/24 season and has now made 22 appearances for the club, however he hasn’t established himself as a guaranteed starter.
It is claimed that the teenager is open to the prospect of a move away from Stamford Bridge in search of more regular football, and it appears that Florence could be a potential destination.
Fiorentina are said to be eyeing an initial loan move for the defender, with an option-to-buy clause included.
The Italian side’s scouting department are said to have been watching the versatile defender for some time now and have been impressed by his performances.
If Acheampong proves to be difficult to sign, the report suggests that Fiorentina could instead look to sign forgotten Chelsea man Axel Disasi.
The centre-back hasn’t featured for Chelsea in the Premier League in December 2024 before being sent on loan to Aston Villa in January.
He was expected to leave the club over the summer, but a move never materialised and he has since been training away from the first team squad.
