The new home of the Blues has caught the attention of both fans and owners across the English leagues.

Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish was wowed by the Hill Dickinson Stadium, and even admitted he was disappointed by how good it was.

He is not the only co-owner who has liked what he has seen, though.

Most of the other clubs across the country will want a stadium as modern as Everton’s, and Wagner promised he’d provide Birmingham fans with something even better.

On Thursday evening, those plans were revealed and it is clear that the American billionaire has big aspirations for his new stadium.

The plans shared showed the striking design, which includes 12 chimney-form towers as part of the £1.2billion ‘Powerhouse Stadium’.

It is certainly something that fans have not seen before in the various plans for new stadiums such as Everton’s and even Tottenham Hotspur’s.

Andy Burnham thinks Everton have a stadium that cannot be matched, with the atmosphere created something incredibly special.

Birmingham’s owners are certainly showing their ambition, but Everton fans will be delighted to now be in their own new home following the move from Goodison Park.

Birmingham City’s stadium will be bigger than the Hill Dickinson Stadium

The plans shared on Thursday evening showcased the 62,000 capacity ‘Powerhouse Stadium’, which would put it on par with Tottenham’s.

It has been suggested by some reports that Everton could increase their capacity to 62,000, but that has not been confirmed by the club.

Which do you prefer, the Hill Dickinson Stadium or Goodison Park?

Hosting Euro 2028 could see some adjustments made to the stadium bowl on the docks to potentially accommodate more fans.

Other suggestions have claimed Everton’s stadium could increase to around 57,000 with some seating adjustments.

Regardless, Everton’s new home is doing exactly what they had hoped for as the club finally look ready to take the next step in their development under the Friedkins.
