Mikel Arteta's table-topping Arsenal return to Premier League action

Arsenal are gearing up to take on Tottenham Hotspur in a pivotal match for the Premier League leaders, who are keen to hold onto their four-point lead at the top of the table.

Mikel Arteta's squad went into the international break after a 2-2 draw with Sunderland, giving Manchester City the chance to start breathing down the necks of the league leaders. Spurs will be eager to put a dent in Arsenal's title aspirations, but the Gunners have the home turf advantage at the Emirates Stadium this Sunday.

However, Arsenal might have to make do without some of their key players. Gabriel Magalhaes is one of those who picked up an injury while on international duty, adding to a growing list of potential absentees. Arsenal will be determined to get back to winning ways against Spurs, who will be hoping to capitalise on any significant gaps in Arteta's line-up.

Here's all the latest news from the Emirates.

German publication Sport1 has claimed Arsenal are among the clubs showing interest in Eintracht Frankfurt's Jean-Matteo Bahoya.

The 20-year-old winger is seen as a rising star, with the German club slapping a £70m price tag on the France U21 international, reports the Mirror.

Signed from Angers in 2024, Bahoya made 33 appearances across all competitions last season, mostly as a substitute, contributing to seven goals.

Despite starting this season with a double against Werder Bremen, he's reportedly grown discontented due to limited regular playing time.

Frankfurt's sporting director Markus Krosche is believed to have set a £70m valuation for him.

Over the summer, Bahoya was reportedly the target of a £61m bid from a Saudi Arabian club, which Frankfurt rejected.

The German side has previously secured substantial transfer fees for players like Hugo Ekitike and Randal Kolo Muani.

Eberechi Eze has dismissed any pressure associated with his £60m move from Crystal Palace.

The 27-year-old, who has netted twice and provided three assists in 17 matches, maintains that he doesn't feel the need to justify his hefty price tag.

Speaking on the Beast Mode On podcast, he said: "Pressure? For me? No. Pressure, no, because I think that is just how my belief system is set up.

"I don't feel the pressure because of what I believe, and the faith that I have. I feel like I have been put in a position, because a club like Arsenal deemed it worthy.

"They pay that money because you are worth that money. Putting it into numbers is hard, because my belief system is set up on a different thing.

"But it is an opportunity. It is an opportunity to go play, do my stuff, be the player that I know I can be - and then you will tell me if I was worth the money or not."
