Martin Odegaard has been sidelined for over a month with a knee injury

Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard is hoping he will be fit enough to feature in Sunday’s north London derby.
Odegaard has been out of action since the start of last month after injuring his knee during Arsenal’s 2-0 win over West Ham.
The midfielder has been working hard on his rehabilitation and continued it last week while linking up with Norway.
Odegaard did not play for Norway, but joined the squad in a non-playing role as they secured qualification for next year’s World Cup.
The Norwegian now hopes he could return for Arsenal this weekend, when they host Tottenham at Emirates Stadium.
Odegaard is one of a number of attacking players that the Gunners are due to welcome back over the next few games.

Gabriel Martinelli is progressing well after being out of action with a muscular issue since the end of last month.
Noni Madueke is also making good progress with his recovery after picking up a knee injury back in September. The winger is itching to return after his impressive start to life at Arsenal.

Striker Kai Havertz has been out since the opening game of the season with a knee injury, while Viktor Gyokeres suffered a hamstring strain before the international break.
Gabriel Jesus has given Arsenal a boost by returning to full training. The Brazilian injured his knee back in January and was forced to undergo surgery.
It is unclear when he will be match fit, but Jesus has stressed his desire to return to the fold and make an impact.
