Jason Kelce can’t wait to sit down at the Thanksgiving table thanks to Kylie Kelce.
The 38-year-old retired NFL star opened up about some of his favorite holiday dishes during a special bonus episode of his and brother Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast on Friday, Nov. 21.
While discussing not being a fan of Thanksgiving turkey, the father of four added, “I love everything else about — well, I take that back — I love most other things about Thanksgiving. I'm a big mashed potatoes guy. I'm a big corn guy. Kylie makes a badass green bean casserole. F------ love that dish. Mama Kelce dinner rolls. Like, everything else about Thanksgiving is so fantastic.”

As for what goes into Kylie’s green bean casserole, Jason noted that while he doesn’t make the dish himself, he thinks it includes green beans, a creamy mushroom base and a fried onion topping.

Jason doesn’t just appreciate his wife’s green bean casserole, in fact, he listed it as his favorite Thanksgiving side dish.
Meanwhile, Travis named mac and cheese as his personal favorite, noting he won’t eat the green bean casserole, while Jason similarly disapproved of Travis’ pick.
“I'll go one step further, and [say] the mac and cheese is the most overrated side item,” Jason teased his brother, 36. “I'm not a big mac and cheese guy. Travis has always been a big mac and cheese guy.”

As for his contributions to the Thanksgiving table, Jason said he’s in charge of deep frying the turkey.
“And Kylie doesn't even eat that, so I pretty much make a turkey for myself,” he quipped.
The former Philadelphia Eagles center then went on to call apple pie “the most overrated dessert in the f------ history of top shelf desserts.”
Jason recently opened up to PEOPLE about his family’s Thanksgiving plans.
“For Thanksgiving, Kylie and her mom do the majority of the cooking,” he shared. “[My] mom comes over, she does her dinner rolls that she's made since we were kids, and then the past couple years, I've been frying a turkey.”
