Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim says his side could be without three key players for Monday's clash at home to Everton.
The Blues head to Old Trafford having only won once in 32 matches there in the Premier League, with that win coming in December 2013 when current boss David Moyes was in the home dugout.
Hosts United have won their last four home league matches but Amorim, who has just celebrated one year in charge of the club, says they may have to do without three players for the visit of the Blues.
Addressing a question about the fitness of forward Benjamin Sesko, who limped off in the 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur before the international break, Amorim said: "It's not that serious. We have to be careful. In a few weeks, we expect to have him."
He then went on to add: "(Harry) Maguire is not ready. Kobbie Mainoo didn’t train today but we hope he will tomorrow."
Amorim went on to add that he expects to have Sesko back in the middle of December, saying: "(It will be) more or less at the same time (as Bryan Mbeumo and Amad Diallo leave for the Africa Cup of Nations), I don’t want to say for sure but when they are going to the camp I expect to have Ben back."
The United boss also insisted that his side are showing better form ahead of the visit of the Blues, saying: "Yeah, I think we are showing that but important thing is that it doesn’t matter what we did in the recent games. We cannot forget we suffer a lot in those games and play every game like it is the last one.
"[We are] more dominant, playing better football and more competitive in every way."
United's injury news comes after Everton boss Moyes confirmed that midfielder Merlin Rohl is set for a spell on the sidelines after undergoing an operation on a hernia injury.
"Unfortunately, Merlin had an operation a week last Monday on his hernia. It's going to keep him out for a few weeks," said Moyes at his own pre-match press conference on Friday.
"Hopefully by the time we get around to December, he'll be fit and ready to go again."
