Ruben Amorim provided a team update on Friday afternoon with updates on several players who have been injured, including Benjamin Sesko.
Before Manchester United’s 2-2 draw with Tottenham before the November international break, Kobbie Mainoo pulled out of the squad due to an injury he sustained in training.
It was a huge blow because the injury came just days after Ruben Amorim admitted Mainoo deserved more game time.

In the game itself, United sustained two injury blows, with Benjamin Sesko expected to be out for up to a month. Harry Maguire also came off in the game because of a hamstring issue, as the experienced defender and Casemiro were substituted at the same time, with the team going on to concede twice afterwards.
There have been two weeks of international football since then, with 20 United players called up. This made journalists eager to find out if Amorim had any updates on some of his injured stars.

Benjamin Sesko misses Man Utd vs Everton
The injury to Sesko comes as a blow because it interrupts his settling period at United.
At the age of 21, Sesko has plenty of time to prove himself at the highest level, but it is unfair to compare him with the likes of Bryan Mbeumo since he arrived at the club with vast Premier League experience.
Amorim has confirmed United will be without Sesko for their Premier League meeting with Everton on Monday night, after the Slovenian limped out of the dramatic draw with Spurs.

“He is going to be a few weeks out,” Amorim told reporters.
“I don’t know how long but it is not that serious, we have to be careful with him. He is going to recover. He is doing the recovery and he is feeling better so we expect in a few weeks to have him back.
“I think it is going to be more or less he will be back at the same time as Amad and Mbeumo leave for AFCON. I don’t want to say for sure but when they are going to the camp I expect to have Ben back.”
It is a blow for Amorim to be without his only recognised centre forward. It means United are going to be even more reliant on Mbeumo and fellow new signing Matheus Cunha to provide the magic.

Ruben Amorim provides Harry Maguire and Kobbie Mainoo update
Amorim also used his press conference to give United fans an update on Maguire and Mainoo.
The United head coach ruled Maguire out of the game against Everton, but Mainoo is a possibility provided he returns to training tomorrow
Amorim added: “Maguire is not ready, Kobbie didn’t train today but I think tomorrow we could see Kobbie so we will see.”
