McTominay has gone from strength to strength since joining Napoli from Manchester United in a €30m deal last summer. The Scotland international chipped in with 12 goals and six assists in Serie A last season, helping Napoli to their second Scudetto in three years and claiming the league’s MVP award in the process.

He has contributed with a further four goals from 14 appearances for Napoli at the start of the 2025-26 season, and has recently made headlines withhis stunning bicycle kick, which helped Scotland on their way to automatic World Cup qualification earlier this week.

The former Manchester United graduate is fast becoming one of the most reliable central midfielders in Europe, and is also beginning to attract the interest of a multitude of Premier League clubs according to various reports.

TeamTalk claims that Arsenal, Tottenham and Everton are among those interested in bringing McTominay back to the Premier League. There have even been suggestions that a regretful Manchester United could be keen to offer the 28-year-old an Old Trafford return.

However, Napoli have little to no interest in selling McTominay as things stand, and according to reports from TeamTalk, would not even entertain bids below the €80m mark.
