Newcastle United's clash at Liverpool in January has seen the kick off time moved back in order for the game to be televised.
It means a long night and potentially extra expense for Newcastle fans with the Anfield fixture moved to an 8pm kick off on Saturday 31 January. The game had been scheduled to start at 3pm but TNT Sports chiefs see it as the perfect fit for their primetime TV slot on Saturday night.
A club statement read: "Three of Newcastle United's Premier League matches in January have been selected for live television broadcast in the UK.
"The Magpies' trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers moves to Sunday, 18th January - kick-off 2pm GMT - and will be shown live on Sky Sports.
"Aston Villa's visit to St James' Park will now be on Sunday, 25th January, due to the Villans' Europa League fixture at Fenerbahçe on the preceding Thursday. The game will be live on Sky Sports with a 2pm GMT kick-off.
"And United's game at Liverpool on Saturday, 31st January has been selected by TNT Sports, with kick-off moving to 8pm GMT."
Newcastle will also have an unpopular slot for their Carabao Cup tie against Fulham next month. The tie has been handed an unpopular start time by the EFL after being selected for TV coverage on Sky Sports.
The encounter with the Cottagers will now kick off at 8.15pm. An EFL statement read: "The schedule for the Quarter-Finals of the Carabao Cup has been confirmed. Every tie will be shown live on Sky Sports, with two matches also selected for free-to-air coverage on ITV.
"On Tuesday, 16 December, Cardiff City host Premier League Chelsea live on Sky Sports Football at 8pm.
"There are two clashes on Wednesday, 17 December, as Manchester City host Brentford live on Sky Sports Football at 7.30pm, and holders Newcastle United entertain Fulham on Sky Sports Main Event and ITV at 8.15pm.
"The final tie between Arsenal and Crystal Palace will take place on Tuesday, 23 December, live on Sky Sports Football and ITV at 8pm."
