NFL bold predictions for Week 12

The NFL got plenty of surprises last week, but perhaps none was more shocking than the Kansas City Chiefs losing a must-win game to stay in contention for the AFC West to the Denver Broncos in Week 11.vHere is a closer look at some bold predictions for Week 12 of NFL action.

Colts Extend Chiefs Losing Streak to Three Games

The Vegas oddsmakers still don’t believe the Chiefs are dead in the water yet, which is proof by them still being favored to win this football game against an 8-2 ball club.

The Indianapolis Colts offense has been elite all season, and Patrick Mahomes has been shaky over the last two contests.

Sure, this feels like an ideal moment for the best quarterback in the world to remind everyone he is still the top dog in the league, which is why it still feels bold to predict the Chiefs will lose their third straight game.

Derrick Henry Notches His First 200-Yard Rushing Performance as a Raven

The Baltimore Ravens’ offense struggled for the vast majority of last week, but Derrick Henry still managed to top 100 yards rushing for the third time in the last five games.

The move to Tyrod Taylor under center for New York is unlikely to do much to threaten this improved Ravens’ defense, which should give Henry plenty of opportunities to impose his will against the floundering Jets.

Kevin Winston Jr. Registers the First Interception of His NFL Career

The talented rookie from Penn State saw 100% of the defensive snaps in Week 11 and he delivered with a solid performance against the Houston Texans.

The Seattle Seahawks are likely to handle their business against the hapless Tennessee Titans, but Sam Darnold has thrown seven interceptions over the last four games, which could create an opportunity for Kevin Winston Jr. to make the first splash play of his young career.

Max Brosmer Sees Action Against the Green Bay Packers

I am not going to suggest a full-blown benching for J.J. McCarthy, but his play through the first three quarters of games in 2025 has been erratic to say the least. Facing off against a stingy Packers defense is unlikely to make things easier for the Michigan product in Week 12, which could lead to Brosmer seeing some action in garbage time duty if the Packers capatilze on McCarthy’s mistakes early in this contest.

Amon-Ra St. Brown Has 100+ Receiving Yards and Three Scores Against the Giants

Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown (14) warms up ahead of the Washington Commanders game at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Md. on Sunday, November 9, 2025.

Another New York franchise that is struggling at the moment is the Giants, who will be tasked with trying to deal with a Detroit Lions team that just got embarrassed by the Philadelphia Eagles on a standalone game in Week 11.

Speaking of embarrassing, Amon-Ra St. Brown likely isn’t happy with his two-reception, 42-yard performance against the Eagles — which doesn’t bode well for a subpar Giants’ secondary that is dealing with an angry superstar at the WR position.

Caleb Williams Snaps Aaron Rodgers Eight-Game Winning Streak Against the Chicago Bears

There is a new sheriff in town in the Windy City. Caleb Williams has the chance to prove to an old Bears nemesis — Pittsburgh Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers — that these aren’t yesterday’s Bears.

Rodgers having a wrist injury doesn’t help matters, but I expect Caleb Williams to continue his high-level of play in a game that means a lot to the city of Chicago by defeating a player who tormented them for the better part of two decades with a three-total touchdown performance.

Mitch Tinsley Finds the End Zone Against the Patriots

Ja’Marr Chase being hit with a one-game suspension opens up an All-Pro sized void in the starting lineup at wide receiver, which presents an opportunity to the other pass-catchers on the Bengals’ roster.

Sure, Tee Higgins should see an expanded role in this contest — but is likely going to deal with star CB Christian Gonzalez regularly this week.

This could open the door for Mitch Tinsley to have a career day in Week 12.

Shedeur Sanders Completes the Trifecta of Throwing for a TD, Losing a Fumble, and Throwing an Interception

The NFL debut for Shedeur Sanders was rough to say the least. His completion percentage was an abysmal 25%, he turned the ball over once, and was sacked twice against the Baltimore Ravens in relief duty of Dillon Gabriel.

A full week of starters reps and a matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders should make this a productive experience by finding the end zone once through the air, but I still expect Sanders to struggle behind a bad offensive line and the speed of an NFL defense — which could lead to a handful of turnover worthy plays for the Colorado product in his starting debut.

Cowboys Upset the Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles defense is starting to resemble the unit that we saw in last year’s Super Bowl — giving up a combined total of 16 points ot the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions over the last two games.

Yet, the offense is still stuck in neutral. Over those two wins, the Eagles have scored just 26 points.

The Cowboys gave the Eagles a game in the season opener and could’ve stole a Week 1 win if CeeDee Lamb had managed to avoid a case of the dropsies.

If Quinnen Williams continues to make an instant impact for this Cowboys defense against a Philly offense that hasn’t quite solidified its identity through the first three months of the season — then the Cowboys could get back into the Wild Card mix with a win on Sunday.

Christian McCaffrey Torches His Former Team for Over 200 Total Yards and Two Scores

Christian McCaffrey has been a fantasy football savior in 2025 with over 1,400 total yards and 11 touchdowns to go with an absurd 74 receptions through the first 11 games.

Oddly enough, this is the first time Christian McCaffrey has ever faced off against his former team.

While there is no reported animosity between CMC and his old squad, playing against your old team where you saw immense success normally means something a bit more to a player.

Expect McCaffrey to continue his outstanding 2025 campaign with a vintage performance against his former team.
