And nobody talks about him retiring any time soon.
West Ham’s ‘pay per goal’ striker needs another ten to join the Premier League’s elite, just thirty five players who’ve hit the magic 100 goals milestone. With two so far in West Ham colours, there’s a lot to do in the remaining seven months of the season. Assuming he stays fit. Which is a big ask looking at recent years.

By Wilson’s reckoning he”s got a couple of seasons ahead of him, then, having missed as much tpitch time through injury in the past five years.
With an impressive scoring record against Bournemouth and his much publicised only slightly tongue in cheek ambition to make Tomas Tuchels World Cup squad, he’s certainly got the ambition and the intent to ‘keep on keeping on’ well past this season. And if he hits the 100 club whilst he’s at West Ham, he’ll have answered all of those critical of his signing in the best possible way.
Another goal against his old side tomorrow? You wouldn’t bet against it.
