Arizona Cardinals offensive lineman Jonah Williams suffered a shoulder injury during the third quarter of Week 10 against the Seattle Seahawks and sat out for the remainder of the contest. He sat out Week 11’s practice and did not play against the San Francisco 49ers. Williams did not participate on Wednesday and Thursday and was set to miss his second consecutive game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

During Friday’s press conference, Jonathan Gannon told the media that Jonah Williams’s shoulder injury will require season-ending surgery, as reported by Tyler Drake of Arizona Sports. The starting right tackle (likely) ends his two-year tenure in Arizona, allowing 28 pressures, 20 hurries, five quarterback hits, and three sacks across 15 games, including 21 pressures, 13 hurries, five quarterback hits, and three sacks in nine starts in 2025. Williams is set to hit free agency this offseason, and he is unlikely to remain with the Cardinals.
Cardinals OT Jonah Williams is headed to IR and will need surgery, per head coach Jonathan Gannon.
Baron Browning will also not play this week.

Josh Fryar is expected to start at right tackle if Kelvin Beachum is unable to play against the Jacksonville Jaguars, as he battles a nagging groin injury that kept him out of Wednesday and Thursday’s practice. Fryar played 21 snaps at right tackle and ten as the extra offensive lineman against the San Francisco 49ers, while Beachum got the starting nod and logged 58 reps.
