Man City manager Pep Guardiola will be delighted to get back into Premier League action this weekend, as his side has the chance to close the gap to Arsenal to just one point if they manage to beat Newcastle this weekend.
The Gunners play on Sunday, but face a tough North London derby against Tottenham, so if City can get three points on Saturday, they could really put some serious pressure on Mikel Arteta’s side, who have lost defender Gabriel to an injury too.
City face off against a Newcastle side who have underperformed in the Premier League this season. They are 14th in the table and have only managed to win one of their last four games in the league. They lost 3-1 to Brentford last time out and will also be without Dan Burn, who was sent off in that game.
But how could Guardiola line up against the Magpies on Saturday afternoon? Here is ManchesterWorld’s predicted XI for the Cityzens this weekend.
