2026 NBA Draftables Vol. 1: Labeling the lottery picks, first and second round selections

The CBS Sports NBA Draft Big Board has been updated and expanded to include 50 prospects. Of that group, though, there are only a select few who can feel confident about their draft status for next June. The vast majority, even of the top long-term prospects, will still have their fate determined by what happens in the next six months.

That's because most NBA scouts and decision-makers are just starting to think about where they would rank prospects. The vast majority of the last few months – both the pre-season and the opening three weeks of the regular season – are spent primarily building out their watch lists and sorting those players into various tiers.

Here at 247Sports, we've replicated that initial process by publishing "The Draftables," which is a team-by-team listing of prospects for this NBA Draft cycle. Those prospects are then assigned to one of four categories. They're either lottery picks (a designation reserved for only six players in the country so far), potential lottery picks, potential first-rounders, or 2nd round prospects, who by extension may be those who have to play their way in through the Draft Combine.

The Draftables can also serve as a viewing guide for fans so they can turn on any game during the course of the season and quickly search for the possible NBA prospects on the court.
