LAKE FOREST, Ill., — The Chicago Bears' linebacker corps will look a lot different in Week 12. The Bears have ruled out their top three linebackers in Tremaine Edmunds, T.J. Edwards, and Noah Sewell for the matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
While Edwards has been out for a few weeks, the injuries to Edmunds and Sewell are both new. Edmunds suffered a groin injury in the fourth quarter of the Week 11 win over the Minnesota Vikings. Meanwhile, Sewell suffered an elbow injury in the loss as well.
With all three out, the Bears will now turn to rookie Ruben Hyppolite II and D'Marco Jackson to be the starters for Sunday's game. It will be a challenge for defensive coordinator Dennis Allen, going with a rookie making his first start and someone in Jackson who has appeared in 36 games but has yet to make a start.
In addition to those three, the Bears have also ruled out running backs Travis Homer and Roschon Johnson.
Defensive backs Jaylon Johnson and Kyler Gordon are both questionable but are also still on injured reserve. It's to be seen if either will return this weekend. Below is the full injury report for the Bears.
OUT
- LB Tremaine Edmunds (groin)
- LB T.J. Edwards (hand/hamstring)
- LB Noah Sewell (elbow)
- RB Roschon Johnson (thumb)
- RB Travis Homer (knee)
QUESTIONABLE

- DB Kyler Gordon (calf)
- S Jaquan Brisker (shoulder)

In addition to the Bears injury news, the Steelers have ruled quarterback Aaron Rodgers as questionable for Sunday's game. He will be a true game-time decision.
