From Carter’s perspective, the issue isn’t important. Hetold reporters in a locker room interview, “I’m not even thinking about it.”
The Eagles won that matchup 24-20. Prescott threw for 188 yards and completed 61.8 percent of his passes, though Dallas failed to finish several key drives.
Carter has improved since his early-season mistake. He has 13 tackles, one sack, and four pass breakups through eight games, helping a defense already boosted by Jaelan Phillips and Nakobe Dean.
Prescott enters this week in strong form. He has thrown for 2,587 yards with 21 touchdowns and six interceptions through 10 games. Dallas is coming off a 33-16 win over the Raiders, where Prescott led the offense well again.
Running back Javonte Williams has added 809 rushing yards and eight touchdowns, giving Dallas a steady ground game. George Pickens and CeeDee Lamb remain reliable targets with a combined 1,465 receiving yards.
Philadelphia continues to control the NFC East. Jalen Hurts has guided the Eagles to an 8-2 record, backed by Saquon Barkley’s 662 rushing yards and the consistent production of DeVonta Smith and AJ Brown.
