Seahawks' Kenneth Walker III added to injury report vs. Titans

RENTON — The Seahawks listed receiver Tory Horton (shin) and linebacker Tyrice Knight (concussion) as out for Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans.

Four players are questionable, including running back Kenneth Walker III, added to the injury report Friday because of a glute issue.

Also questionable are guard Grey Zabel (knee), fullback Robbie Ouzts (elbow, personal matter) and linebacker Ernest Jones IV (knee).

Walker has played in every game this season, and coach Mike Macdonald said this week that he deserves more opportunities to get the ball.

But the questionable designation obviously means that for now the first order of business is Walker being healthy enough to play against the Titans.

Horton, a rookie fifth-round draft pick from Colorado State, will miss a third consecutive game. Knight was injured in the first quarter of Sunday’s 21-19 loss at Rams while making a tackle on a kickoff.

Zabel suffered a knee injury against the Rams on Sunday. He practiced on a limited basis Thursday after testing revealed no significant damage.

Jones suffered a knee injury against Washington on Nov. 2 and missed the Arizona game the next week before returning to play against the Rams.

He was listed as a full participant in practice Wednesday but limited Thursday.

Macdonald was scheduled to speak with reporters after Friday’s practice.

Notes

The Seahawks’ game captains for this week are receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba, rush end Derick Hall and snapper Chris Stoll, the team announced.

The Seahawks announced they will wear white jerseys with wolf grey pants Sunday. The Seahawks also wore that combo for the 31-17 win at Pittsburgh in Week 2 and are 3-0 in it the past two seasons.
