Staff predictions for Seahawks vs. Titans in Week 12

Here are score predictions for the Seahawks’ Week 12 game against the Titans in Nashville, Tenn., from The Seattle Times sports staff.

Week 12 vs. Titans

Matt Calkins (7-3)

Seahawks 24, Titans 17: Just about everyone but Sam Darnold looked sharp in Seattle’s two-point loss to the Rams last Sunday, but that QB play was glaring. Look for him to bounce back and for the defense to look sharp once more as the Seahawks (and I) improve to 8-3.

Bob Condotta (7-3)

Seahawks 23, Titans 6: Everything statistically points to a comfortable Seahawks win, especially the matchup of Seattle’s defense against the Titans offense. And the Seahawks have shown consistent resilience from tough defeats under coach Mike Macdonald, as well as having won 13 of their last 15 road games. This should be another happy trip home.

Mike Vorel (6-4)

Seahawks 34, Titans 17: Coming off a stinging loss to the Los Angeles Rams, don’t expect the Seahawks to overlook anyone – even the lowly Tennessee Titans. At 1-9, Tennessee has the worst point differential (minus-130) in the NFL. No. 1 overall pick Cameron Ward has plenty of potential under center, and the Titans’ last two losses did come by a single score. But this is the definition of a “get right game,” any way you slice it. The Seahawks will get right via rout.

Tim Booth (6-4)

Seahawks 30, Titans 12: There is zero reason this game should be close. The Titans are bad. The Seahawks are mad. It will be interesting to see how Sam Darnold rebounds from last week’s nightmare and it could be a chance for a big day from Kenneth Walker III or Zach Charbonnet against Tennessee’s defense allowing 4.7 yards per carry.
