Happy Friday, and I hope yinz are doing well.
The Steelers continue to be inconsistent, but we saw the good version of them against the Bengals last Sunday. The Steelers were strong defensively in a much-improved effort compared to their loss to the Bengals earlier in the year. The defense scored two touchdowns and the offense did enough to win comfortably.
However, the Steelers did pick up a few injuries this week. Aaron Rodgers missed the entire second half with an injury to his left wrist. Jaylen Warren also had to miss some time in the same half with an ankle issue. Warren will play on Sunday, and Rodgers might with a questionable designation.
This week’s opponent, the Bears, are a tough one. They’ve won seven of their last eight, with a young quarterback Caleb Williams and a new head coach in Ben Johnson making that mark even more impressive. They’re a beatable team, but they’ve found a way to win close games all year long.
As always, we’re here with you throughout the weekend with whatever news comes our way.
Have a safe and happy weekend.

Recap: Week 11 Weekend: Steelers Friday Night Five Questions
Only 50 respondents answered last week’s questions. And no weekly bonus winners.
Q1: Will the Steelers beat the Bengals?
It was a tight game until two defensive touchdowns iced the game. The Steelers beat the Bengals 34-12. 45 of 50 (90 percent) of Steelers Depot respondents picked the Steelers to win.
Q2: Will the Steelers have O/U 60.5 offensive snaps?
The Steelers offense has lost the time of possession battle in most of its games this season. And only exceeded 60 snaps in three of nine games going into Week 11. The Steelers ran 28 times and passed on 31 plays. Add one sack and they hit exactly 60 snaps (accepted penalties do not count). Just half a snap from going over 60 offensive snaps. Twenty-two of 28 (44 percent) of respondents predicted the Steelers playing under 60.5 offensive snaps.
Q3: Which Steeler will have the most receiving yards?
Thirty of 50 (60 percent) respondents predicted DK Metcalf to lead the Steelers in receiving yards. He almost had 79 but a questionable OPI call negated a 30-yard catch. That still would be two yards short of the 81 receiving yards for RB Kenneth Gainwell who led all Steelers. No one predicted Gainwell to lead. So, no 5- point weekly bonus points awarded this week.
Q4: Does Aaron Rodgers throw an interception?
Aaron Rodgers avoided throwing an interception in his one half of play. Thirty-seven of 50 (74 percent) picked up a point by saying Rodgers wouldn’t be intercepted in the game.
Q5: Will Jaylen Warren have O/U 99.5 total yards?
Jaylen Warren was well on his way to over 100 total yards. But he was knocked out of the game during the first drive of the third quarter, so he missed most of the second half. He had already accumulated 67 total yards including 62 rushing yards on 10 runs. Only 17 (34 percent) of respondents said Warren would finish under 99.5 total yards.

Tiebreaker: How many receiving yards will Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins combine for?
The tiebreaker—predicting how many receiving yards Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins combined for was crucial to determine this week’s winner. Chase held to just 3 catches and 30 yards. While Higgins added 63 more receiving yards. The combined 93 receiving yards compared to our median prediction of 171.5 yards.
No one answered all five questions correctly. But 5 folks got four of five correct. Grey Duck was 8 yards off the mark by predicting 182 combined receiving yards by Chase and Higgins. Next came Peter-Petersen at 165 yards. Then GhotiFish with 162. Then GreenBastard came within 30 yards with 123. But Deep_derp predicted 105 yards. Just 12 yards off the tiebreaker.

Banastre Tarleton and Nick Schultz remain in first and second, respectively. But GhotiFish leapfrogs Ratman and Chris92021 into third place.
Another low scoring week. As a group, we got two of five questions right. Four people dropped off the leaderboard. But three reappear. Peter-Petersen and Donte Williams last on the leaderboard in week 8. And Mak Lives Free last on in week 9. Welcome back!
Keep answering! Plenty of time to reach the top three money positions. And always a shot at being a weekly winner.
