A weekly article we post that gives a brief overview of how national media members view the Pittsburgh Steelers’ odds. Just a skinny summary of notable names who are picking for or against Pittsburgh. We’ll see who gets it right most often. If they offer a score prediction, we include that, too. When applicable, I’ll toss in the predictions from Dave Bryan and myself to see how we stack up.
Today, predictions for the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Week 12 game against the Chicago Bears.

Quick Notes
– The top four NFL Network predictors this season are all picking the Bears. Take that for what you will.
– Pittsburgh hasn’t won on the road in Chicago since 1995, though the team has only played there twice since. The Steelers lost in 2009 and 2017.
However, that is the only time Pittsburgh has ever won in Chicago. A 1-12 career record.
– The Steelers and Bears enter Week 12 as division leaders. Combined, they have a point differential of just plus-8. Pittsburgh at plus-14, Chicago at minus-6.
– Aaron Rodgers has a 24-5 record against Chicago. His 64 touchdown passes against the Bears are the most by any quarterback in NFL history, four more than Brett Favre. Only Tom Brady and Dan Marino have ever thrown more touchdown passes against any one team in regular-season history. Brady threw 72 against the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins while Marino also threw 72 against the New York Jets. Those poor AFC East defenses.
– Kenneth Gainwell enters Week 12 just one reception behind the team lead held by DK Metcalf (37). The last Steelers running back to lead the team in receptions was FB John L. Williams and his 52 during the 1994 season.
– Nick Herbig leads the Steelers with 6.5 sacks. If he finishes the season in first place, he’ll be the first Steeler not named T.J. Watt or Alex Highsmith to do so since Cam Heyward in 2017.
– If Pittsburgh has a pick-six in Chicago, it’ll be the first time the team has done so in back-to-back games since 2009. That’s currently the only instance since 1997.
If the Steelers have a scoop-and-score touchdown, it’ll mark the first time since 1999 they’ve do so in consecutive games.
If they can do both, it’ll be only the second time in team history they’ve accomplished the feat in back-to-back games, joining Weeks 6-7 of 1983.
