The Chiefs lost on the road to the Buffalo Bills (28-21) going into their Week 10 bye and came out of it with a divisional road loss to the Denver Broncos (22-19) as they came out of it last Sunday. Kansas City fell to 5-5 on the heels of those losses and clouded their AFC playoff hopes pending a monster run down the stretch. The Chiefs have shown they are capable of doing just that, but after laboring against a tough Broncos defense in Week 11, the urgency picks up with another first-place team set to come to Kansas City in Week 12. Even with their current set of challenges, the Chiefs claim the NFL’s 9th-best scoring offense (25.4 ppg) and the 7th-best total offense (364.2 ypg).

On the same note, Jones and the Colts lead the NFL in both categories, averaging 396.9 yards and 32.1 points per game. Indianapolis perhaps has an advantage in this one with a Week 11 bye to heal and rest in an effort to show a new level of play on the road. The Colts are 6-0 at home this season and 2-2 away fro home with their only two losses coming Week 4 to the Rams (27-20) in Los Angeles and Week 9 to the Steelers (27-20) in Pittsburgh before bouncing back in Week 10 with a 31-25 overtime win over the Atlanta Falcons. Running back Jonathan Taylor turned up the heat on an MVP campaign in that one with 244 rushing yards and three touchdowns, bringing his season totals to an NFL-best 1,139 yards and 15 TDs.
