The Packers got back into the win column in Week 11 with a 27-20 outcome over the New York Giants on the road. The 27 points scored by Jordan Love and the Pack offense was more than the group had scored in the two previous weeks combined in home losses to the Carolina Panthers (16-13) and Philadelphia Eagles (10-7), but those points came despite losing the yardage battle to the Giants (336 to 296) and logging just 24:04 in possession time. Green Bay scored the game-winner on a 17-yard touchdown pass from Jordan Love to Christian Watson with 4:02 left in the fourth quarter.

The Vikings are fighting for their playoff lives with a 4-6 record and a stretch where they play four of their next five games away from home. Minnesota has lost four of its previous five, but the lone victory in that stretch came on the road over the Detroit Lions (27-24) in Week 9. Quarterback J.J. McCarthy showed his mettle in that contest, but questions about his play arose in back-to-back home losses to the Baltimore Ravens (27-19) and Chicago Bears (19-17) as he completed 36 of 74 passes with two touchdowns, four interceptions and respective efficiency ratings of 54.5 and 47.7. Still, McCarthy helped guide a go-ahead touchdown drive in the fourth quarter of that loss to the Bears, only to see Chicago quickly get into field goal range and make a winning kick as time expired.
