Florida State will wrap up their 2025 Atlantic Coast Conference schedule when they face NC State on Friday evening at 8 p.m. from Carter-Finley Stadium (56,919) in Raleigh, N.C. It is the second time this season that FSU has played on a Friday night on the road. FSU also traveled to Virginia for an ACC contest on Friday, September 26th. The Seminoles lost 46-38 in double overtime to the Cavaliers. It marked their first loss of the season.
The Seminoles enter the game with a 5-5 overall record, including a 2-5 mark in Atlantic Coast Conference contests. The Seminoles are 0-3 in ACC road games during the 2025 season and haven't won a road contest in league play since November of 2023.
The Wolfpack are also 5-5 on the season, including 2-4 in ACC play. They are 4-1 at home, including 1-1 in ACC games at Carter-Finley Stadium this season.
FSU is led by head coach Mike Norvell, who is 38-32 in six seasons at FSU and 76-47 overall in 10 seasons as a head coach. Norvell is 27-9 (.750) in November as a head coach, including 13-4 (.765) on the road, scoring 36.5 points per game and allowing 24.1 points per game in the final month of the regular season. Norvell is 0-3 against NC State as FSU's head coach.
Dave Doeren is the head coach of NC State and he is in his 13th season in Raleigh, where he has led the Wolfpack to a record of 92-70. He is 115-74 overall as a head coach, which spans 15 seasons. He is 5-5 in his time at NC State against the Seminoles.

Florida State leads the all-time series with NC State 27-16, including 11 total wins in Raleigh and an 19-12 overall advantage since FSU joined the ACC for the 1992 season. NC State has won the last three meetings and FSU hasn't won in Raleigh since 2016.
