Jacoby Brissett’s Week 11 jersey sent to Pro Football Hall of Fame

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett’s Week 11 jersey that he set the single-game record for completions in has been sent to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

The jersey, now on display in Canton, Ohio, is the same one Brissett wore when he completed 47 of 57 passes during the Cardinals’ 41-22 loss against the San Francisco 49ers last Sunday. He finished the game throwing for 452 yards and two touchdowns.

Brissett’s 47 passes were two more than the previous record set by Jared Goff (2019) and Drew Bledsoe (1994). He also set a franchise record for most completions in a single game, breaking the previous high mark set by Kurt Warner (40) in 2008.

Since taking over for Kyler Murray, Brissett has started the Cardinals’ last five games where the 10-year veteran has thrown for 1,570 yards, 10 touchdowns and three interceptions with a 61.7% completion rate.

The Cardinals (3-7) are back in action on Sunday as they face the Jacksonville Jaguars (6-4) at State Farm Stadium in Glendale. Kickoff is at 2:05 p.m.
