The January transfer window is fast approaching, and the Friedkin Group are expected to hand Everton manager David Moyes funds to spend.
Everton have made a pretty disappointing start to the Premier League season as they’re languishing in the bottom half of the table.
David Moyes’ side have shown a profligate nature up front, so it’s become pretty obvious a striker will be targeted this winter.
Tim Sherwood brutally admitted Thierno Barry and Beto aren’t good enough and are holding the club back.
So, the Toffees must identify the right profile of striker, and there are two other jobs the Friedkin Group must tick off.

Everton should go all out for Troy Parrott
First up, and perhaps the most important task, is signing a striker and AZ Alkmaar’s Troy Parrott should be the top priority.
Everton scouts watched Parrott score twice against Portugal last week, and he followed that up with a hat-trick against Hungary to send Ireland to the World Cup play-offs.

Christian Eriksen has hailed Parrott’s exceptional movement, and the data shows he’s one of the best in Europe at finding space in the box.

Beto 5.12
Troy Parrott 6.17

Parrott is also a lot more clinical and would arrive full of confidence, so he’d be a great addition if Everton could get it done.
Is Troy Parrott the perfect January signing for Everton?
Everton need to find a loan for Adam Aznou
Adam Aznou hasn’t played a single minute for Everton’s first team since arriving in the summer from Bayern Munich.
Aznou has played with the under-21s but wasn’t particularly impressive and was on the end of a thrashing against League One outfit Bradford City.
It has been reported that Aznou wants to leave in January and the Toffees should sanction a loan deal so that he can develop elsewhere.
Ideally, the Friedkins and their chiefs should find a club lower down in the Premier League or at the top of the Championship for Aznou to join.
Everton must recall Harrison Armstrong
Recalling Harrison Armstrong from his loan spell at Preston North End is an absolute no-brainer, especially with Idrissa Gana Gueye absent at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Armstrong has blown everyone away at Preston, and their supporters are convinced he’ll be a future England captain; that’s how good he’s been.
The all-action central midfielder is already established as one of the best players in the Championship, so he’s certainly ready to play in the Premier League.
It has been reported that Armstrong will only be recalled if injuries occur, but at the rate he’s going, that stance may change around Finch Farm.
