Tyler Dibling has been forced to showcase his patience rather than his footballing ability since he made the move to Everton over the summer.
Following a promising 2024/25 campaign with Southampton, Everton were one of the many Premier League sides to show an interest in the young winger.
It was the Toffees who managed to secure the signing of Dibling on the back of the Saints’ relegation back down to the Championship.
David Moyes had to fight to sign Dibling over the summer, with Everton and Southampton battling over the figures involved for the youngster.
However, the determination to sign Dibling has not translated into regular minutes in the Premier League.
As Iliman Ndiaye prepares to depart Merseyside for the Africa Cup of Nations, Moyes has now shared what he has planned for Dibling over the coming weeks.

One thing that was made apparent during Friday’s press conference was that Everton do not know when Ndiaye will leave for AFCON.
There is a general understanding that players will depart at some point in December, but the exact date remains unconfirmed to Premier League clubs.

As the club readies themselves for their star man to depart, Moyes has shed some light on what they are expecting from Dibling.
“We’re looking forward to getting Tyler more minutes as we go along and get him featuring in the games,” the 62-year-old told the media.

“He’s seeing Ili do really well on the right but we really like him as a player and he’s certainly a player for our future.”
Dibling made just one substitute appearance for England’s U21s during the international break, with his game time for Everton reflected on the international stage.
However, his opportunity for the Toffees is coming as Moyes looks to prepare him for a busy festive period.
