It has been a while since the last time Green Bay Packers wide receiver was last seen seeing action for the team. That was in Week 2, to be exact, against the Washington Commanders at Lambeau Field.
Green Bay won that contest to improve to 2-0, but it came with a cost, as Reed suffered a shoulder injury against the Commanders. Reed thenunderwent surgeryto address his shoulder and foot injuries, forcing the Packers to place him on the injured reserve.

Green Bay would love to have Reed back as soon as possible, but they will have to wait for at least one more week. He has already been ruled out for this coming Sunday’s Week 12 showdown against the Minnesota Vikings at home.
“I think I’m definitely a piece that can help the team, man,” Reed told reporters on Friday, perMatt Schneidman of The Athletic.
“I just hound myself on bringing juice, so I always say if you juiceless, you useless,” added the former Michigan State Spartans star wideout.
Although he remains out, the 25-year-old Reed has already beendesignated for return from the injured reserve and has also participated in practice on Friday on a limited capacity. That was a great sign for Reed, whose next possible return will be in Week 13 against the Detroit Lions at Ford Field in Detroit.
Reed should be able to find himself with a significant role for the Packers once he returns. After all, he led Green Bay in the 2024 NFL season with 857 receiving yards to go with six touchdowns on 55 receptions and 75 targets.
