Arsenal are in line for transfer profit as former right-back Brooke Norton-Cuffy is attracting interest from a number of top Italian clubs.

The England U21 international left the Gunners for Genoa in August 2024 in a deal worth an initial £1.75million (€2m) plus a further £1.75m (€2m) in bonuses following eight years in north London.

Norton-Cuffy has since made a huge impression in Serie A and has played every minute of Genoa's league campaign to date whilst also starring for Lee Carsley's young Three Lions.

His sparkling form has caught the eye of both Inter Milan and Juventus, who are monitoring his displays closely ahead of the January transfer window.

If the Pimlico-born starlet was to switch clubs, Arsenal would be due an undisclosed cut of profit after they negotiated a sell-on clause when selling Norton-Cuffy to Genoa around 14 months ago.

Current Italian champions Napoli have also been credited with an interest amid unconfirmed reports that Antonio Conte's side have already seen a verbal offer worth in the region of £8.8m (€10m) rebuffed.

Regardless, it appears Norton-Cuffy is highly likely to earn a move soon particularly with relegation-threatened Genoa floundering towards the bottom of the Serie A standings.

Around three months after he signed on the dotted line in North West Italy, former Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira was appointed as the club's head coach but the Frenchman was recently sacked and replaced by Daniele De Rossi.

Norton-Cuffy's agency Roc Nation Sports have a close working professional relationship with Inter in particular as they represent a number of Nerazzurri stars including Federico Dimarco and crucially, Luis Henrique, who has already been linked with an exit after moving to San Siro this summer from Marseille.

Henrique, like Norton-Cuffy, has also been utilised as a right wing-back but having made just two Serie A starts this season, a winter departure is not off the cards.

If the Brazilian was to leave Inter, it's understood Norton-Cuffy would be among the club's primary targets.

The Arsenal academy graduate is bidding to follow a similar pathway to Tottenham full-back Djed Spence, who also had a spell with Genoa, as he looks to force his way into the England senior ranks following U21 European Championship glory in the summer.

Norton-Cuffy spent time on loan at Lincoln City, Rotherham United, Coventry City and Millwall before moving to Genoa.

There was also interest from a series of French and Bundesliga clubs when he made the decision to depart the Gunners in 2024.
