The Pittsburgh Steelers are well aware that they haven’t won a playoff game since 2016. This season, to right the ship, the Steelers had one of the busiest offseasons in the NFL.
Now, the Steelers are rolling with four-time MVP Aaron Rodgers as their quarterback. Rodgers isn’t the same quarterback he was with Green Bay, but he’s still been impressive and has Pittsburgh sitting at the top of the AFC North standings.
Unfortunately, Rodgers was forced out of the Steelers’ last game, a major divisional win over the Cincinnati Bengals, with a left wrist injury. He was initially listed as questionable to return, but ultimately, backup Mason Rudolph closed things out.
Rodgers was eventually diagnosed with a fractured wrist, but the veteran was hopeful that he’d be able to play in Pittsburgh’s next game against the Chicago Bears, with Friday being a critical day in assessing whether he’d be healthy enough to give things a go.
Unfortunately, the injury has hampered him more than he was anticipating, and he wasn’t able to get fully cleared on Friday, with head coach Mike Tomlin listing the 41-year-old as “questionable.”
> Not only is Aaron Rodgers officially questionable for Sunday’s game in Chicago, but Cam Heyward is also questionable after being limited with an ankle injury that seemingly occurred at Friday’s practice.

If Rodgers can’t go, the Steelers could find themselves in a precarious situation rather quickly, as the Baltimore Ravens have been hard on their heels in the AFC North standings.
It’ll be interesting to see if Rodgers can stay healthy down the home stretch of the season.
