Schoolboy defender Angelinou Pedro has been named in the starting lineup as Arsenal U18s face Norwich City away in the Premier League Cup.
It is a competitive debut at this level for Pedro, who featured for the U18s against Dover in pre-season.
A player who is strong physically, he trained with the first-team earlier this season.
There is also a start at left-back for first year scholar Josh Tahou, while captain Callan Hamill is expected to line up in midfield.
Theo Julienne, who trained with the first-team yesterday, isn’t involved with the U18s, which suggests he could have a prominent part to play for the U19s against Bayern Munich in midweek.
Sam Chapman isn’t included in the matchday squad.
