As reported by Defensa Central, within the club, there is constant acknowledgement that “if there is a player who has surprised Xabi Alonso for his willingness, commitment and good vibes, it has been the Moroccan international.”
That sentiment captures exactly why Brahim continues to remain important, even if he is not starting every week.

The club insiders often highlight how the forward behaves away from the spotlight. Staff and teammates appreciate that “Brahim is always helping, without making faces and contributing his all when it’s his turn to play.”
As such, his commitment has not gone unnoticed, particularly in a squad full of competition for attacking roles.
It is for that reason that the coaching team, including Xabi Alonso himself, hold Brahim in high regard.
As internal discussions point out, “he deserves it,” an honest reflection of the belief that he merits more minutes than he currently receives.
However, the reality of Madrid’s frontline is harsh. Alonso has consistently opted for the explosiveness of others over Brahim, and this depth naturally limits opportunities for the 26.
