**U18 Premier League Cup**
**Norwich City 3 (Corke 40, 45, Oligbo 49) Arsenal 3 (Bailey-Joseph 71, O’Neill 86, B. Phillips 90)**

Substitute Bowen Phillips scored a late equaliser as Arsenal U18s staged a superb comeback to draw 3-3 away to Norwich City in the Premier League Cup but it wasn’t enough to prevent the young Gunners from being knocked out in the group stages.
Arsenal found themselves 3-0 down early in the second half and had been reduced to ten men following the dismissal of goalkeeper Khari Ranson.
However, they were given hope through goals from Brando Bailey-Joseph and Ceadach O’Neill before Phillips’ late intervention.
Schoolboy Angelinou Pedro made his debut for the U18s as part of a defence that also included first year scholar Josh Tahou.
Callan Hamill was deployed in midfield with Theo Julienne not involved after he trained with the first-team yesterday.

Arsenal beat Peterborough in their first game of this competition before suffering a heavy defeat against Stoke City.
They were back in action after a three-week absence but fell behind five minutes before half time when Finlay Corke scored.
Corke netted again in stoppage time to leave Arsenal two goals behind at the break.
Arsenal made two changes ahead of the second half as Josh Ogunnaike came on for Tahou and Alex Marciniak was brought on for Kyran Thompson.
However, there was further frustration to come as goalkeeper Ranson received a straight red card in the first minute of the second half.
Josiah King was then withdrawn with substitute goalkeeper Remi Lupinski replacing him.
Norwich proceeded to add a third goal as Finlay Oligbo scored.
Bailey-Joseph managed to reduce the deficit just after the hour mark and then Phillips came on to replace Maalik Hashi.
After O’Neill got Arsenal’s second goal, Phillips equalised with his first goal at this level to cap off a remarkable game.
Arsenal, however, will exit the competition in the group stages.
