Bears vs. Steelers: Staff predictions for Week 12

LAKE FOREST, Ill., — The Chicago Bears are 7-3 on the season and in first place in the NFC North going into Week 12. But this week begins a tough final seven games as they host the Pittsburgh Steelers and then turn around and head to Philadelphia to play the Eagles on Black Friday.

It's going to be a very important stretch for the Bears in terms of their playoff hopes. That starts this Sunday in a game they really could use a win in.

As it stands right now, quarterback Aaron Rodgers is questionable and will be a game-time decision for Sunday. If he can't go, it will be backup Mason Rudolph getting the start for the Steelers. Rodgers has a rich history against the Bears, being 11-1 in his last 12 games at Soldier Field, all with Green Bay. There's nothing more Bears fans would want than to beat Rodgers and get to 8-3 on the year.

For the Bears, they are down three linebackers in this game as Tremaine Edmunds, T.J. Edwards and Noah Sewell have all been ruled out. Defensive backs Jaylon Johnson and Kyler Gordon are still on injured reserve and aren't expected to be removed just yet. Chicago will need to find a way to keep Caleb Williams clean and give him time to make plays if they want to win this game.

As we always do, we have our staff predictions for Sunday's game. See who we think will win this game and our x-factor. Make sure to check back with the Bear Report for complete coverage on this game and the rest of the season.
