**Newcastle United take on Manchester City this evening at St James' Park with a 5:30pm kick-off live on Sky Sports.**
Eddie Howe has fielded the strongest side possible to take on the title challengers, which has included the return to the starting lineup for both Lewis Hall and Tino Livramento.
Anthony Gordon has missed out after Howe had said he was touch-and-go on Friday.
There's also another change at the back with Sven Botman dropping to the bench in favour of Fabian Schar.

Bet we're not the only ones to get this one wrong
**Newcastle will have to work hard today due to several big changes by Eddie Howe**
Nick Pope retains his place in goal after picking up a concussion last time out against Brentford. There had been calls for Aaron Ramsdale to start after a couple of howlers by Pope of late, but Howe has stuck with his No. 1.
With Gordon missing out, Harvey Barnes starts on the left flank with Jacob Murphy on the right and Nick Woltemade through the middle.
There are no surprises in the centre of the park with the usual trio of Bruno Guimaraes, Sandro Tonali, and Joelinton trusted to do their jobs.
The bench looks desperate with two goalkeepers and two kids. Not a lot of options for Eddie Howe if things aren't going well.
Manchester City look strong
---------------------------
Erling Haaland starts for Manchester City, as does former Newcastle target Rayan Cherki, who joins Jeremy Doku to complete the front three.
In-form Phil Foden also starts, as does Sandro Tonali's good mate, Gianluigi Donnarumma.
It's a lot of change for Newcastle, so we're not sure how all that is going to work out if we're being honest. It's going to be a tough old afternoon, but you can never write us off.
HOWAY EDDIE HOWE'S MUCH CHANGED MAGS!
